This smoothie can gently detoxify your body and help restore your health after periods of unhealthy eating, taking antibiotics, or a course of medication.

Let food be thy medicine and let thy kitchen be thy pharmacy, for the nourishment we choose today can determine the health we enjoy tomorrow- Hippocrates.
Why is this smoothie good for you?
Spirulina's detoxifying benefits:
Binds to heavy metals and removes them from the body: Spirulina contains peptides that can attach to heavy metals in the body, such as lead and mercury. This prevents these metals from being absorbed into the bloodstream and allows them to be excreted from the body.
Supports liver function: The liver filters toxins from the body, and spirulina can enhance its ability to process and eliminate toxins.
Enhances antioxidant activity: Spirulina is a rich source of antioxidants that can help protect the body against damage caused by free radicals. Spirulina can support the body's natural detoxification processes by reducing oxidative stress.
Spirulina is among the top foods high in vitamin B12 and iron.
Blueberries offer a wealth of health benefits:
They are loaded with antioxidants, including anthocyanins, flavonols, and resveratrol, which work to combat free radicals, lower inflammation, and enhance the immune system. Research indicates that consuming blueberries can heighten the body's antioxidant levels, shielding against oxidative stress.
Blueberries are a rich source of vitamin C, vitamin K, and fiber, among other beneficial compounds.
Ginger has several health benefits:
It has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation and pain.
It may also aid digestion, relieve nausea and vomiting, and lower blood sugar levels.
Ginger has antibacterial and antiviral properties that can help boost the immune system and fight off infections.
Some studies have shown that ginger may have anti-cancer properties and could help protect against certain types of cancer.
Eating flaxseeds can offer a range of health benefits.
Flaxseeds are high in fiber, which can help promote regular bowel movements and improve digestive health. They are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for heart health and may help lower cholesterol levels and reduce inflammation. Flaxseeds also contain lignans, which are plant compounds that have been linked to a lower risk of breast cancer. They may also help improve blood sugar control, reduce hot flashes in menopausal women, and support weight loss.
